Electro-Fence™ (specialised non-lethal electric fence system) is a powerful perimeter intruder detection system (PIDS) which can be attached to an existing perimeter fence or used as a stand-alone fence. The obvious physical presence of the electric fence and bright yellow warning signs are visually off-putting to any potential intruder and present a potent front-line deterrent.
Electro-Fence™ System: Intruder Detection & Deterrent
Key System Features
- Visual & physical intruder deterrent
- Shock, voltage & short circuit monitoring
- Cut & climb monitoring
- Controller continuous monitoring
- Interfaces with standard security equipment
A controller continuously monitors the Electro-Fence™ generating an alarm when pre-programmed conditions are met. Electro-Fence™ controllers have an impeccable safety record. The high voltage pulse is less than one thousandth of a second in duration. Hence why this electric fence technology is often referred to as ‘non-lethal’ electric fence security.
All controllers are manufactured to exceed European standards: BS EN 60335-2-76.
As manufacturers of our own electric fence technology we aim for the highest standards of manufacture and design. Component over-rating plays a key part in our approach to providing security system quality. Core components such as electric fence controllers come into this. Electric Perimeter Fence Applications
Our electric security fence technology has been installed throughout the world to provide effective perimeter protection and site security across a broad spectrum of applications:
- military site security (eg. Royal Air Force)
- industrial sites (eg. Carlsberg-Tetley)
- power stations (eg. BNFL)
- construction site security (eg. British MOD)
Electric Fence Manufacturer Case Studies
Electro-Fence™ is also becoming established as the electric fence product of choice for many prisons and police compounds. Read our special case studies below.
