Most perimeter fences have access gates and the number and type of gate varies according to the nature of the site and the type of fencing. Our electric security fence system can be readily installed across all gate types, providing a seamless performance of security around the whole perimeter.
Electric Fence Gates: Single, Double Leaf, Swing, Sliding
There are 2 main types of electric fence gates: Single Leaf Gates and Double Leaf Gates. Their modus operandi can vary – some will be swing gates and others sliding gates. Many will be motorized. Our Electro-Fence™ system can be fitted to all of these types of gate, turning them into electric fence gates.
How Electro-Fence ™ Works On Gates
In principal of the system is that the high voltage is transferred onto the gate using a high voltage gate contact.
Single leaf gates up to 4 metres wide can be protected with this section.
For single leaf gates greater than 4 metres some intermediate sections will also be required.
The photograph below shows a single leaf, swing gate with Electro-Fence ™ installed
Double leaf gates up to 8 metres wide can be protected. For gates greater than 8 metres some intermediate sections will also be required.
