Perimeter Security Systems
Police Compounds fall into 2 different categories – Police Vehicles and Impounded Vehicles – and both need good perimeter security protection. Our Flexiguard ™ is used to protect both types of compound.
Police Vehicle Compounds – this type of compound also acts as the maintenance and repair garage for all police vehicles. A good perimeter security system protects the actual Police vehicles as they are a common target for vandalism and theft of the police radios.
Secure Vehicle Compounds – where impounded vehicles are stored, having been involved in some sort of crime and in need of forensic scrutiny or having been involved in road traffic accidents. Good perimeter security is important in this type of compound for a different reason – to protect the vehicles from being interfered with in any way, otherwise forensic testing and gathering of any other evidence could be invalidated.
