Security Case Study – Development of a Virtual Network Computer System
As reported in previous case studies, our company is often challenged to come up with new perimeter security solutions. Developing our Multisys™ Security Management System is a great example of the tremendous hard work and commitment shown by our Research and Development team.
Over the years we have supplied many military sites with perimeter security systems and it was this field of work that acted as a catalyst for yet another product development program.
During one particular installation we were told that the site ideally needed a remote monitoring system - ie. one control centre that could monitor a variety of sites from a central location. Our Technical Director Andy Moon set to work on the challenge and from within our ongoing R&D program we came up with the solution - Multiview™. Essentially a virtual network computer system (LAN or WAN), it enables all data to be encrypted and offers a secure logon - key features to effective security.
Multiview™ is now being offered to a variety of clients where remote monitoring is required.
