Perimeter Security For Wildlife Parks
Security in Wildlife Parks and Zoos is important for the protection of both the animals and their visitors. We have used both Flexiguard™ and Electro-Fence™ in these applications. Flexiguard™ is used in Edinburgh Zoo around the parrot cage. The parrots are rare and valuable; thieves were previously cutting the cage and stealing the parrots. Our sensor cable was installed within a stainless steel flexible conduit to protect it from the parrots. We also protect a Wildlife Park in the North East of England with Flexiguard™ . This is installed on the perimeter fence and is used to detect people breaking into the park where they were previously stealing rare birds and letting animals loose. |
