Mobile Phone Masts
| One of the newest types of application for our perimeter
security systems is that of Mobile Phone Masts. More and more masts
of this kind are being erected all around the world and they have beome
a new target for theft and vandalism. Protecting mobile phone masts from human activity is something most of us would never think of arising but it is nevertheless very much a reality. Theft of copper cables and metal from on site cabinets is a big problem so effective perimeter security and intruder detection is crucial. There is also the added consideration of the valuable traffic in terms of communications that might be passing through the masts at any given time and this too needs protection. Any interruptions to those communications could be very damaging. |
